towards the midline of the body.

• Turning the sole outward,
away from the midline of the body.

• Tibialis anterior (TA) &

Tibialis posterior (TP) muscle

• Peroneus longus (PL) &

Peroneus brevis (PB) muscle

NOTE: Both muscles (PL, PB) are supplied by superficial peroneal nerve.

NOTE: Both muscles (PL, PB) mainly cause eversion of the foot.
