Vitamin K

Vitamin K exist in three form- 

1. Vitamin K1 (Phylloquinone / Phytomenadione): found in green leafy vegetables

2. Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone): Synthesized by intestinal bacteria 

3. Vitamin K3 (Menadione): Synthetic compound, metabolized into K1 (phylloquinone)

1. Clotting factors: Factors II (prothrombin), VII, IX, and X (2, 7, 9, 10)

2. Anticoagulant proteins: Protein C, Protein S

3. Osteocalcin (in bone)

4. Matrix Gla protein (in bone)

5. Nephrocalcin (in kidney)
