The 5 stages of grief, also known as the Kubler-Ross model, describe the range of emotions people go through when dealing with loss or grief.
These stages are not necessarily experienced in order, and not everyone goes through all five.
The five stages of grief, according to psychiatrist Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, are:
