Bursitis is the inflammation of a bursa, a small, fluid-filled sac that acts as a cushion between bones, tendons, joints, and muscles.
Cause-
• Repetitive motions
• Positions that put pressure on the bursae, such as kneeling, leaning on elbows, or extensive throwing.
• Trauma or injury to the affected area.

Symptoms-
• Pain in the affected area, especially during movement
• Swelling
• Limited range of motion in the affected joint.
• Tenderness around the affected area.
Treatment-
• Resting the affected joint
• Applying ice to reduce swelling.
• NSAID (to reduce inflammation)
• In severe cases, drainage of the bursa or surgical intervention may be required.
